The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for Botanical Surveys located at USDA-s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: AG-046W-S-17-0023 to perform Restoration Services, Plant Materials, Collection, Inventory, Mapping, Native Seed and Straw Production, Plant Propagation, Conifer/Hardwood Tree, Climbing/Seed Collection. Parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement to cut as much non-seed orchard tree vegetation as possible within the enclosed seed orchards, to reduce fire risk and intensity, and to reduce the spread of undesirable vegetation. All grass, forb, woody vegetation smaller than ½ inch ground line diameter, and woody debris smaller than a 1 inch in maximum diameter shall be mowed, whereas larger diameter shrubs and other obstacles such as rocks or steep slopes may be avoided.
