The Town of Okotoks (“the Town”) is intending to award the following contract to Sunset Memorial & Stone Ltd.Scope:The Town is planning to extend the cremation niche inventory available at Okotoks Cemetery, by expanding the current cremation garden to include additional columbaria units. The expansion area will integrate seamlessly with the existing cremation garden and enhance the experience for families.Anticipated Contract Term and Value:The project has a total estimated value of $210, 000 with an anticipated delivery date of no later than June 1, 2025.It is the intent of the Town to complete this purchase for the following reason(s):Research from Town administration has found no comparable system or known suppliers in Canada that provide an equivalent and aesthetically matching solution with the existing columbaria.
