The CPMA recommends Racing Forensics Inc., a vendor currently accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) for TCO2 testing and forensic equine sample collection and is the only laboratory in Western Canada with an instrument approved by the CPMA. IGCO could not fulfil this obligation to test one thoroughbred horse from each race and two standardbred horses from each race, without this contract. This would result in the inability for races to occur and impact the overall operations of horse racing in BC. Documents
