The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest to participate in the upcoming bidding exercise for the Collection of recyclable waste materials, aluminium cans, cardboard, plastic bottles, and shredded paper from UNAMA premises. Through its operational activities, UNAMA generates a considerable quantity of recyclable waste materials, In accordance with the UN environmental policy and guidelines, the Mission is required to, reuse and/or recycle such items in an environmentally sustainable manner as well as observe all other applicable International and/or local authorities environmental policies, regulations, and standards.Important Note: Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time.
