Camosun Innovates has secured funding for and is seeking to acquire three (3) pieces of equipment, a Collaborative Robot (Cobot) Palletizer, a Cobot Welder, and a Machine Tending Cobot. All three are full integrated systems with Universal Robot (UR) Cobots. Camosun Innovates currently operates five UR Cobots for training purposes. To maintain consistency in programing, spare parts, and design enhancements, the additional Cobots for palletizing, welding, and machine tending must be of the same brand (UR). The requirement for UR Cobots is based on standardization and compatibility with existing training equipment.
