THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.Cogitative
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a sole source basis in accordance FAR 13.106-1(b)(1((i) with Academy MedTech Ventures, Inc., 3800 Gaylord Parkway, Suite 120, Frisco, Tx 75034, as the only responsible source that can develop a Cognitive Software Platform and annual Software License in support of the US Army Medical Research Directorate-West (USAMRD-W), Brain-Physical Optimization Conditioning (B-POC) program research.
This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 are incorporated.
The USAMRD-W is a directorate of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) responsible for conducting research and delivering solutions to optimize brain health to increase resilience and mitigate operational stress for maximizing Soldier health and performance.
Contractor Shall develop cognitive software platform and provide annual software licensing capable of the following:
Variety of neurocognitive tasks available (e.g., working memory, inhibition)Options to modulate task difficulty, added dual-task cognitive demandsAccess to high-fidelity task feedback at shorter- and longer-term intervalsData available in raw and summated formatAbility to compare collected data to established norms for age, gender, etc.Create tailored training programs to individuals or groups that adjust over timeIntuitive user-interface enhancing ease of use, option selection, setting revisionServer is Fedramp approved (e.g., de-identified, no 3rd party access)Software compatible with the DISA networkRun on lightweight devices within a gym/fitness space Compatible with Macintosh devices (i.e., iPad Pro, iPhone)Touch screen and/or USB-compliant button interfaceTechnical support and maintena...
