Tenders are invited for Based on CA Appeal Afghanistan Programme designed around climate resilient livelihood generation, support locally appropriate agricultural practices, that prevent loss of crops, livelihoods and reduce impacts of climate and environmental crisis and CAID county strategy “To provide Resilience Building and livelihood support to marginalized people with special focus on women “, AHDAA has designed this project proposal including below 5 components to address the prioritized livelihood and agriculture needs of the 6 villages communities, especially women and children of Cheshti Sharif district of Herat province such as distribution of Dairy Goats, Wool Spinning Machines, Honey Boxes with bees, improved wheat seeds and High energy Food package for pregnant/lactate women and under 5 years children. The situation of the remote districts and villages require urgent attention from the international community to provide essential assistance to those affected communities by the disaster. Cheshti Sharif district of Herat province is one of the far away districts of Herat province is one of the highest districts at risk that needs urgent humanitarian assistance and support. Fortunately, CAID is ready to support these vulnerable communities through Code-3 Appeal fund. Cheshti Sharif district and its six surveyed villages (Shirkhaj, Sonee, Rubatak, Besha, Ghor Abad and Senjetak) were selected based on the announced appeal criteria, prioritized communities, the most effected community and the district authority-s coordination, which has 170 Km distance from Herat city near to Salma Dam and Harirood river on Herat-Ghor Highway gravel Road. The selected villages have distances between 7km-55km gravel roads with primary roads conditions.
