Description

Bat Removal, Prevention, and CleanupThe intent of this Pre-Solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of the upcoming solicitation for a contract at US Fish and Wildlife Service, Leadville National Fish Hatchery located in Leadville, Colorado. This is NOT a request for a quote, proposal, or invitation for bid.On behalf of Leadville National Fish Hatchery, USFWS Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property, Goods and Services, SAT 2 Team intends to issue a firm-fixed award for services to remove bats roosting in multiple buildings, waste removal, treatment of the space, and sealing the buildings to prevent further bat infiltration. In accordance with FAR Subpart 23.1, federal contracts for pest management services require contractors to use or supply BioPreferred products. Additionally, the bat removal and cleanup needs to be done within the scope of Integrated Pest Management that minimized harm from both pesticides and pests. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 561710, Exterminating and Pest Control Services, and the business size standard is $17.5 million. The procurement will be a small business set aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract with a period of performance for approximately six months.The solicitation will be available 04/17/2024 (or thereafter) with a proposed closing date of 04/29/204. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Once posted, offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at www.sam.gov.
