CNC machine for model workshop The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU/client) needs a new CNC machine for its model workshop. The machine must be 5-axis and have a maximum footprint of 4980mm x 8500mm. CNC machine must strengthen the knowledge and digital expertise in the model workshop at NTNU. The aim is to be able to produce precise and complex models and prototypes more efficiently, reproducibly and with higher quality. The machine will support both research projects and the practical the training of students, while at the same time reflecting current industrial standards and helping to automate existing manual and partially automated processes in order to be able to carry out complex parametric tasks as well as ensure and further develop future projects and interdisciplinary activities in the model workshop. The purchase is a one-off purchase, accompanied by a service agreement. An extension of the warranty and service agreement can be offered as options.
