Description

I. Introduction

Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) is issuing this announcement to alert vendors of updated Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) / Electronic Warfare (EW) Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) Prototype programmatic and reference material as well as an upcoming Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contract to be released to C5-s Consortium Management Group (CMG).

This solution must provide assured PNT to meet the diverse missions and threat environments. Additionally, using navigation devices that solely rely on GPS creates vulnerabilities in the PNT system that can be exploited by adversarial jamming and affected by the physical environment. Mounted ground units require the ability to operate and navigate through a wide variety of challenging environments in the presence of electromagnetic interference. The CMFF APN...
