Description: Climax Substation - Line Work Synopsis: this Request for Proposals (The “Rfp”) is an Invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“Saskpower”) to Prospective Proponents to Submit Proposals for the Provision of the Line Construction of Climax Capacity Increase, as further Described in the Rfp Particulars (Appendix A) (The “ Work”). Saskpower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation Continued under the Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). it is Principally Responsible for the Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electricity for most of Saskatchewan. this Work is a Part of the Climax Substation Expansion Project. a Small Modification on Sw7-South is Required to Accommodate for Mobile Transformer. the Work Covers the Replacement of Structures Str# 212 & 213, (D14/901 & D14-009Mod) on Sw7- South Line 72Kv T/L Including the Installation of Line Insulator. the New Wood Pole Structures are Directly Embedded. this Line has Pigeon Acsr Conductor and no Shield Wire and there is no Change of Conductor. Restring the Slack Span between the New Str #213 & the Existing Termination Structure at Climax Sub is Also Part of the Work. New Pigeon Conductor Shall be Used and Installation of Inline Insulators (T07-082 Attached) on Slack Span (Termination Structure has been Already Installed) is Also Required. the Line Shall be Constructed as Per the Saskpower Safety Rulebook and Saskpower Safety Rules.
