Hand cleaning events Additional cleaning services The ERZ city cleaning department is responsible for cleaning all public streets, sidewalks, squares and parks in the city of Zurich. The public parks on Lake Zurich are used by the population used intensively during festival events. The contracting authority requires the additional cleaning effort during the periods of most intensive use - i.e. once a year during New Year's Eve Magic and once a year during the Street Parade supporting cleaning services. The tendered service includes the cleaning of the entire park area including all hard and gravel areas at the lake. Furthermore, all waste containers, containers and recycling stations must be included in the service provided be emptied. The service description includes two lots: LOT 1: concerns hand cleaning events and includes supporting, upstream manual cleaning work such as wiping, raking and emptying waste containers in preparation or supplement to machine cleaning. LOT 2: includes additional cleaning services in heavily frequented parks, especially during recurring major events such as New Year's Eve Magic and the Street Parade.
