The ERZ city cleaning department is responsible for cleaning all public streets, sidewalks, squares and parks in the city of Zurich. The public parks on Lake Zurich are used intensively by the population during festival events. For the Additional cleaning effort during the periods of most intensive use - i.e. once a year during New Year's Eve Magic and once a year during the Street Parade - requires the tendering authority to provide additional cleaning services.
