The Haute Vièze stage includes the construction of a Coanda-type water intake at a place called Grand-Paradis (threshold altitude: 1, 052.09 m) connected to a buried glass fiber penstock (PRV) DN 1, 200 mm over a length of approximately 1, 520 m followed by a 340 m section of ductile iron pipe DN 1, 000 mm. The pipes will transport an equipment flow rate of 2.5 m³/s to the new Haute Vièze power plant located at the Bêtre STEP, 125 m below.
