City of Pec pod Sněžkou - parking lot navigation system including ITS The subject of the public order for supplies is the execution of supplies and related assembly work for the purpose of modifications and solutions for the development / construction of an informative traffic-operational system for the locality the town of Pec pod Sněžkou. A modern intelligent transport system (ITS) is therefore a key tool to effectively manage traffic, increase safety and at the same time improve comfort for residents and visitors. A key element will be the introduction of automatic detection occupancy of parking spaces in the existing 6 barrier parking lots through camera technology or other sensors. Occupancy data will be used both for traffic management and vehicle routing, as well as for displaying the current situation and others important information on variable information boards. These will be located on key access routes and near parking lots. As part of the implementation of the subject of the public contract, there will be delivery and construction of new vertical traffic markings and variable ones traffic signs for navigating vehicles to the parking system. There are a total of 5 locations in the territory of the city of Pec pod Sněžkou by road II/296 (see ZD for more details).
