The main objective of the consultancy is to support the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the UNDP in the preparation of key inputs to generate quantitative and qualitative indicators to identify the trends of our biodiversity in a clear manner with a fully replicable approach that fits to the perspective of our environmentat the national level. It should provide specific indicators for the evaluation of each Aichi Goal and the NBSAP. These indicators can be used not only for the inputs of the "Sixth National Biodiversity Report", but also for their present and future use by all the institutions of the Dominican Republic responsible for conservation, management and protection.of biological diversity.
