Chemical products The procurement concerns a framework agreement for chemical products for flue gas and water treatment. The products are used in VA operations, energy production and related industrial operations by Sinfra's members. The framework agreement includes, among other things chemicals in the following product areas: • Disinfection and oxidation • pH adjustment and neutralization • Biological processes and nutrition • Softening and ion exchange • Carbonates and carbon-based chemicals • Odor and foam reduction • Activated charcoal • Flue gas purification • Heat and process carriers • Other chemicals for flue gas and water purification according to the product list The framework agreement does not cover precipitation chemicals, coagulation chemicals, flocculation chemicals or polymers. Lime-based process chemicals covered by Sinfra's separate lime frame agreement is also not included in this procurement. However, sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate are covered by this framework agreement. The framework agreement is procured by Sinfra for Sinfra's members. Calls are made through renewed competition (FKU), where the the calling member specifies the product, concentration, packaging form, delivery volume, delivery frequency and other requirements for the current need.
