The procurement unit (Tampere University Foundation sr / University of Tampere) is requesting bids for a chemical management system and an update service for safety data sheets.
The purpose of the system is to manage the university's list of chemicals for all campuses and to ensure operational safetyabout the up-to-dateness of newsletters as a SaaS service. The indicative maximum purchase price is €55, 000/year. A separate bid price is requested for the commissioning phase.
The university's chemical list currently covers approximately 5, 000 chemicals, more than half of which are from large chemical suppliers (Merck, TCI, Fisher Scientific, Avantor). About a third of the chemicals have another supplier. An example of the form of the list of chemicals (excel file) is attached to the tender request.
As part of the competition, a usability evaluation will be organized with the help of an external expert.
