Project title: champlain bridge - lane control system (lcs) replacement

description of the work

the general contractor shall have expertise or hire a sub-contractor with expertise in civil and electrical aspects of the lcs electrical distribution and control equipment.

The general contractor shall supply, install, test and commission the equipment as outlined in the tender documents:

this project consists of the following:
install two ctu traffic controllers, two traffic monitoring cameras, and two uninterruptable power supplies (ups) supplied by the city of ottawa;

provide and install 11 gantry driver control cabinets and 75 led traffic signs;

provide and install electrical distribution, lcs cable plant and infrastructure along the length of the bridge;

provide temporary traffic control of the champlain bridge during the construction of the project.

A non mandatory site visit will be held on wednesday, october 28, 2015 at 10am ottawa time. The exact meeting place is bate island near the electrical/lcs control room.

all costs incurred by the bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The ncc will not reimburse any bidder for expenses related to the site visit.
