INTRODUCTION: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its requirement to procure the production and delivery of the RR-129, RR-144, RR-170, RR-180, RR-188, RR-198, RR-199, and RR-203, a timed-release Chaff Expendable Countermeasure with higher Radar Cross Section (RCS) capability to create threat disadvantage, provide increased survivability, and expanded frequency coverage. The estimated contract value will be $225, 000, 000.00 across United States Navy and Marine Corps, United States Air Force, Joint Program Office (JPO) and Foreign Military Sales.
The proposed class of contracting actions will procure an estimated range of 30, 000 - 500, 000 units per year for Fiscal Year (FY)28 through FY32 to satisfy both domestic and foreign requirements.
