The Pressurized Solvent Extractor (PSE) or sometimes called accelerated solvent extractor (ASE) will support the processing of complex solid or semisolid environmental sample matrix (e.g., sediments, biosolids, biota (invertebrates, fish)) as part of sample preparation activities in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. The equipment will be housed in the Water Research Facility led by the Environmental Engineering and Water Resources team and will be managed by Dr. Maricor Arlos.
