The objective of this project is to stabilize the eroded embankment by supplying and installing new gabion baskets filled with angular stone. The work shall be completed while minimizing disturbance to the surrounding area and existing vegetation. Due to the steep terrain and constrained site conditions, access to the work area is difficult, and the Contractor is responsible for developing and implementing a safe and appropriate access methodology.
