Tender Details

The intent of this contract is to secure services to collect cones from conifers-including ponderosa pine, sugar pine, western white pine, incense cedar and jeffrey pine. Cones will be obtained from superior trees that will provide the forest with a diverse variety of seed crop from various elevations and stands. This contract requires the contractor to climb and collect cones on various ranger districts of the sierra national forest, sequoia national forest, stanislaus national forest and eldorado national forest in california. Collections may occur on all the forests in a given year or only a few of them. This contract will be a base plus 2 additional option years with multiple line items and option items for the various species of conifers.
All cones and seed collected under the provisions of this contract shall remain the property of the government. Collection is not to occur until a government official is on sight. All collections will be supervised by government officials.
Contractor responsibility: the contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the government.
