The subject of the public procurement is the establishment of the Central Process Control System in the company Plinovodi d.o.o. as the operator of the gas transmission system in Slovenia. The central process control system will be the key process information system for remote control and gas transmission system management. Therefore, with this order, we are approaching the tender for the supply and implementation of a modern and widely established control system, which will replace the existing one and provide a good technical basis for the further development of the activity transmission system operator, also in light of the upcoming green transition and management of the transmission system with renewable gases. In addition to the fact that the Central Process Control System will have to be based on modern but proven standards and technologies with areas of control systems and ensure high availability of operation, it will also have to ensure flexibility of configuration and architecture, upgradability and expandability of content, modularity of functional system components and connectivity via standard communication protocols. The system will also have to enable the integration and control of gases from renewable sources, including monitoring the proportion of hydrogen. An important segment and focus of the order is also the provision of the increased requirements for the last period in the field of information security.
