THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE SERVICE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - West (HCD-W), intends to award a firm fixed price service contract for cellular telephone wireless voice and data services at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms (NHTP) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.901(a) Sole Source acquisitions and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government-s needs, to:

The objective of this sole source award is to provide NHTP a short term one-year contract for cell phone service including unlimited data (voice and text) support and services needed to properly connect to Verizon Wireless network, along with data service for wireless air cards and tablet devices for use by NHTP personnel aboard the NHTP, Adult Medical Care Clinic (AMCC), Branch Health Clinic China Lake (BHCCL), Branch Health Clinic Bridgeport (BHCB), and while TAD/TDY or away from the aforementioned locations. NHTP currently has a total of 130 devices broken down as follows: 13 iPad Pro 11-inch, 5 iPad Pro 12-inch, 95 iPhone SE 22 and 17 Jetpack MIFI 8800.
