The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District (NWS), Special Projects Branch at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA has issued this Sources Sought notice for market research purposes. The responses to this notice will be used to develop the Acquisition Strategy for an upcoming Request For Proposal (RFP) to repair by replacement the existing roof of Building 3087 with a new metal roof panel system.
This is not a pre-solicitation announcement, nor a RFP. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this Sources Sought and no contract shall be awarded from this Sources Sought. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow up information requests. After review of the responses to this notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a separate synopsis may be published in the US Government System for Award Management (SAM) Contract Opportunities website at https://www.sam.gov.
The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested firms who have the demonstrated capabilities in meeting the project description listed below.
The proposed work is to be performed under the following North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code: 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
Both large and small business firms are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought notice. However, if sufficient numbers of small business firms demonstrate interest, capabilities, and qualifications, the Government may choose to set-aside the acquisition for small businesses. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $45, 000, 000.00.
