Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Request for Proposal to provide construction services for Customs and Border Protection. Work shall include but is not limited to:

DEMOLITION: Remove and Dispose

Contractor to remove/relocate existing furniture/equipment and protect as necessary. Contractor to install dust barriers prior to removing any wallpaper. Contractor to remove approximately 430 LF of existing vinyl base. Contractor to remove approximately 3200 SF of existing wallpaper and dispose of properly. This work will be done in separate phases.REMODEL:

Contractor shall protect existing VCT and carpet tiles to prevent possible damage caused by construction work. Contractor to repair/patch existing walls in Room 968 as needed and sand if required in work area. Contractor to prime all interior walls in Room 968 with No VOC/Low VOC primer. Contractor to apply two (2) coats of No VOC/Low VOC paint to all walls primed. Color shall be selected and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to paint existing door frames (approximately 11 ea). Color of frames to match existing color in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to install approximately 430 LF of new vinyl base in areas where it was removed. Color to match existing vinyl base in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to replace all furniture/equipment removed prior to start of project. Contractor to wipe down all areas to ensure no construction dust remains.This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Business concerns. The estimated project magnitude is less than $25, 000.
