Cardiology specialist services and STEMI emergency The object of the acquisition is cardiology specialist services at the South Karelia Central Hospital. The work input of a cardiology specialist is purchased for an estimated 6-8 days at the cardiology polyclinic and to the coronary angiography laboratory 4-8 days per month. The service to be purchased also includes on-call work of an invasive cardiologist (so-called STEMI on-call) on weekdays (Mon-Thurs). During the contract period, if necessary, the STEMI emergency room can also be extended to include weekends by mutual agreement of both contracting parties. It is a voluntary option service for the service provider. The object of procurement is described in more detail in the Service description appendix of the request for tender.
