Along with other key Crown construction buyers, we are working to support industry and ensure economic activity is maintained in the context of the current pandemic. One way we hope we can bring you some certainty is by continuing to release our forward pipeline.
We started publishing our forward construction project pipeline in 2018, to provide our Construction Directory suppliers with indicative timings of anticipated construction tenders over $500, 000, which are released in our Construction Directory. The pipeline includes project opportunities, tenders in progress and awarded contracts.
We have updated the way we present long-term pipeline data to include projects forecast to be released in the next 12-60 months. As these projects' business cases gain approval, we'll indicate their expected value. We are continuously evolving our data management to help support the construction industry.
The publication of our pipeline is now more important than ever and, as a signatory to the Construction Sector Accord, is one way we are playing our part to support New Zealand-s COVID-19 recovery by maintaining a strong building and construction sector.
