The K9 mannequin replicates different medical intervention sites and has enhanced capabilities to include limb amputation, axillary wound, abdominal cavity laceration, gastric dilation and volvulus, oro-facicial trauma, limb burn wound, bullet injury, tension pneumothorax, and respiratory rate evaluation thus allowing for further realistic training scenarios than the current Hero Dog which only allows for a single leg laceration bleed, heart rate/pulse evaluation and IV/IO catheter placement.
