THIS PROJECT IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB) ONLY
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 has a requirement to repair sinkholes around the campus (Project 552-26-506) at the Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete new construction including, but is not limited to, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements as shown on drawings and specifications.
The general scope of this project is to conduct a thorough assessment at each of the 14 sinkhole sites to identify and mark all underground utility lines, ensuring site-specific traffic control and site safety measures are in place. Excavate the ground to access underlying structures based on the unique requirements of each location. Cut the pavement strategically around affected areas as needed. Replace catch basins, storm drains, and drainpipes where necessary, tailored to the conditions of each site. Employ jetting and camera technology to inspect and clean the storm lines, addressing the specific issues at each location. Once the infrastructure work is completed, repave or restore the surface as needed to include landscaping and seeding, based on the unique requirements of each location. Collect and remove all debris from each worksite, ensuring that the sites are thoroughly cleaned and left in excellent condition.
All work shall be conducted in complete accordance with the project Statement of Work (SOW), specifications, and drawings (to be published in the Solicitation, if issued).All work shall be closely coordinated with VA Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer s Representative (COR).
