Description : This is NOT an active solicitation. On behalf of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the California Department of Technology seeks feedback from the vendor community on its draft solicitation documents for an Enterprise Data Governance Technology Solution (EDGTS). The services will include implementation of a SaaS solution, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post-implementation services. This process is also referred to as a pre-solicitation.The EDGTS project is intended to provide reliable, accessible, shareable, documented, and quality-controlled data for use by Caltrans and its partners. The final solicitation will seek an enterprise data governance solution that provides technical data governance capabilities that, when coupled with defined roles, responsibilities, and processes, will become the foundation of a sustainable enterprise data governance approach. The pre-solicitation instructions, included with this notification specify the steps for providing feedback.
