From the 2014-2017 quadrennial, the UN Women-Haiti representation sought to diversify the funding base and position the office as a reliable partner. In this context, the programs developed under the strategic plan developed were based on consultations with external partners. As a result, the partnership was, therefore, one of the country office`s priorities for the implementation period of the note and was also seen as one of the main tools at their disposal to facilitate the implementation of the program document. It was necessary to frame not only the development of the new partnerships observed over the period but also especially theof existing ones. This strategy of UN Women Haiti was presented in the Partnerships and Coordination section of the 2014-2017 Strategic Plan and highlighted the need for partnerships as well as the overall framework facilitating, in a coherent way, the selection and implementation of effective collaborations. There is also the typology of the partnerss according to the objectives pursued by each area of intervention and the nature of the cooperation between thecountry office and other relevant actors. For this purpose, the types of partnerships varied between the technical and financial partners with the funds and embassies; governance partners with the government; advocacy and advocacy partnersactivities with civil society including women`s organizations and other entities; trade and capitalization partners.In the United Nations system, it has been recognized for more than 10 years that cooperation benefits all organizations. Thus, it appears that partnerships serve as accelerators for implementation.development initiatives (WFP, 2014).
