Tuomi Logistiikka Oy is preparing the tender for the procurement of the cell blocker manufacturing security system for the welfare areas of Pirkanmaa and Kanta-Häme. Subject to acquisition is a security system for cytotoxic drug manufacturing, the supplies of which are used for diluting dangerous drugs such as cytotoxic drugs, making them ready for use and giving them to patients. The safety system is used to dilute dangerous medicines mainly in hospital pharmacies, but sometimes also in treatment units. The system must prevent staff exposure to cell blockers, e.g. splashes, powder dust or droplet mist in patient-specific dose preparation.
