BACKGROUNDThe ACP-EU Development Minerals Programame, implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Jamaica in collaboration with Mines and Geology Division, Ministry of Transport and Mining, invite applications from qualified Small Scale Mining and Quarrying Entrepreneurs/Public Institutions/Mining Associations/Civil Society Organizations/Community groups/Academia for the following Grants:GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Applicants should have at least participated in one of the Training of Trainers (TOT) Country Training Workshop under the ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme in partnership with the Ministry of Transport and Mining. The trainings are aimed at enhancing environmental, mine and quarry management, businessmanagement skills for small scale mining entrepreneurs operating in the Development minerals sector, civil society organizations, community groups, training centres and government and local government agencies. . Each trainee was asked to develop a Return to Work Plan (RWP) to promote continuity of the training experience.All Applications should be received no laterthan Friday, July 27th, 2018 11:59 pm, Jamaica time indicating the assignment being applied for, in the Subject Field.
