Tender Details

The City of Henderson is calling on all artist to design and create one (1) unique mural for the Skate Park at Paradise Pointe Park located at the intersection of Ivanpah Drive and Jessup Road in Henderson, Nevada. The mural area is approximately 9-10” wide and 1-9” tall (totaling approximately +/- 15 square feet). The mural will enhance the cultural beauty and environment of the skate park and Cactus Wren Park and support the City-s efforts to make all Henderson Parks and Recreation facilities more welcoming for all. The mural must encapsulate a skateboarding theme and complement the adjacent skate park. The mural should embody the spirit of daring, adrenaline, and freedom that enthusiasts of skateboarding often experience. Skate parks are specifically designed recreational facilities intended for skateboarding and scooter riding, and feature of variety of ramps, bowls, rails, and other features. Skateboarding and skate park activities typically encompass performances of tricks such as rail slides, flips, jumps, and other daring acts, and is an Olympically recognized sport. One artist will be chosen for the project. Selected artists will have one week to complete the mural and the mural must be completed by no later than June 17th, 2024. Selected artist/artist teams will be rewarded up to $750.00 for the selected mural space. One artist or artist team will be awarded the entire project.
