Call for External Collaborators: Development of a Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Strategy for the project, Strengthening International Labour Standards in Fiji through the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework The consultant is expected to develop a GEDSI strategy, which shall inform how the needs and perspectives of women, persons with disabilities and other marginalised groups in Fiji can be integrated into planned activities and process of the SILS project. The strategy shall ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion are adequately reflected in project outcomes. In this regard, the consultant shall: 1. Provide an analysis of the key challenges and opportunities for women, persons with disabilities, i-Taukei people as well as other marginalized groups in the world of work in Fiji, including in the context of the informal economy. 2. Develop practical guidance to ensure that gender equality, diversity and inclusion is effectively mainstreamed into all activities of the SILS programme, enabling groups in vulnerable situation to take ownership and support the objectives of the project.3. Socialize the GEDSI strategy with the staff and key stakeholders of the project to support uptake and implementation.The primary end users of the gender equality and women-s empowerment strategy will be staff of the ILO Country Office and any other implementing partners.
