The consultancy aims to provide specialized technical assistance to the Ministries of Labor of the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Costa Rica in the implementation of the Child Labor Risk Identification Model (Mirti), developed by ILO and ECLAC. This tool allows Estimate the probability of child labor occurrence at the subnational level, based on official statistical data, in order to guide more focused and effective public policies. The work contemplates accompanying the statistical process in three countries, guaranteeing the quality of the data used, the validation of the applied models and the elaboration of territorial risk maps. It is also necessary to advise on the technical documentation of the models, the systematization of the results, and the preparation of information sheets with key data and policy recommendations public. The consulting will contribute to the strengthening of national technical capacities for the institutional use of Mirti, as well as to promote its adoption within the framework of an intersectoral strategy. Experience is integrated into the regional program to accelerate work eradication Infant (Praeti), promoted by the regional initiative, and contributes to product 1.4 of the program and budget of the ILO 2024 2025, oriented to the respect and promotion of the fundamental principles and rights at work.
