Below is a summary of the work to be carried out: The ILO is looking for a external collaborator to carry out a rapid mapping of youth employment policies and programs and the main institutional actors in Benin, and to document the perspectives of young people on the difficulties linked to employment and the support priorities. The mission will include a desk review of relevant policies, strategies, action plans and initiatives; bilateral consultations with up to 20 stakeholders, including at least five youth organizations; and one analysis of the results. The consultant will prepare an inception note, consultation summaries, a concise country report of a maximum of 4, 000 words, as well as a PowerPoint presentation of the main results. The work will be carried out in French (or English) over six weeks, according to ILO models and guidelines.
