A stated need is for employment objectives to be better integrated into national budget processes and aligned with sectors for inclusive development.The ILO-s Employment, Skills and Sustainable Enterprises department has developed the Employment-Related Public Expenditure Review (ERPE) methodology, a structured evidence-based approach to assessing how public budgets support — or fail to support — national employment objectives.The ILO is contracting an international consultant to conduct ERPE exercises in two GA pathfinder countries: Senegal and Namibia.
