Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.Below is a summary of the work to be performed:Under the ILO PROSPECTS partnership in Iraq, this assignment aims to conduct a comprehensive study on delivery work in the Kurdistan Region, focusing on both platform-based and non-platform-based models, including the experiences of forcibly displaced persons (FDPs). The consultant will assess working conditions, income, legal status, and access to social protection. Key tasks include a literature review, development of methodology and tools, field surveys and interviews with delivery workers across Kurdistan governorates (Erbil, Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Halabja), and mapping digital labour platforms. The consultant will also engage with government, platform companies, worker organizations, and civil society. The study will generate evidence-based recommendations to support inclusive policies and fair working conditions in the digital economy. The consultant will facilitate two multi-stakeholder workshops to validate findings and co-develop policy recommendations.
