This assignment involves editing Better Work Annual Reports, producing written and audiovisual materials for digital use, and working consistently with the communications team to meet deadlines. The expectation is for the editor to be available via email, phone or online chat for relatively quick turnaround of materials, to accurately communicate time needed for a thorough copyedit, to be able to communicate questions and recommendations for changes, and to be familiar with language and grammar conventions and ideally also to be familiar with the ILO Style Guide. We also require that the editor/writer offer a time estimate for deliverables and monitor the days used against their contract. The deliverables include: • Copyedit Better Work Annual Donor Report, by 30 April 2026 (8 Days) • Produce two unique website stories (600-800 words each) with social media posts based on the needs arising from the programme. ( 8 days)• Provide miscellaneous writing and editing support, including country programme reports, briefs, concept notes, and strategy documents, as requested by global teams or country programmes. (2 Days)
