The methodology will include desk research and field work (survey with returning migrant workers) and some additional key informant interviews. The country note will: 1. Provide an overview of return and labour market reintegration for migrant workers from Sri Lanka2. Describe the key features of return and reintegration policies and frameworks, including labour market reintegration, social protection, skills- recognition systems, and reintegration support in times of crises.3. Assess the effectiveness of reintegration programmes in relation to their impact on migrant workers including accessibility, outcomes, costs (for migrant workers), and decent work opportunities in the domestic labour market for returning migrant workers (gender analysis to be included)4.
