Dear bidder: The International Labor Office (ILO) is looking for a person to carry out work as an external collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be carried out: The consultant must compile, systematize and analyze institutional, regulatory and statistical information on minimum wages and vulnerable workers in selected Latin American countries, as well as processing microdata from household, employment or workforce surveys for the construction of required indicators. To do this, you must have an excellent command of programming in statistical software such as R, develop and document programs that allow you to reproduce the results and build organized and consistent databases. Likewise, you must review the quality and comparability of the information, identify possible harmonization problems between countries and sources, and review relevant bibliography and technical documentation. Finally, you must analyze and interpret the results and prepare tables, graphs and technical inputs that contribute to the preparation of the products and reports provided for in the consultancy.
