Call to Artists Courtice Public Art Project
The Municipality of Clarington is seeking professional Artists or Artist-led teams to create an artworks or a series of artworks in partnership with local youth to be located along the public trail and park system within the main street area of Courtice.
This Project is for a series of works for local parks which could include painting of waste receptacles, skateboard park and other features.
The site(s) in Courtice to be considered for the art works include the following local parks and/or natural areas, linked to or in close proximity to the municipal trail system:
Ø Courtice Skateboard Park (2950 Courtice Road North)
Ø Tooley Mills Park (71 Old Kingston Road)
Ø Trulls Road Parkette (2840 Trulls Road)
Ø Millennium Trail (entrance is located on the north side of Highway 2, east of Trulls Road)
