Description : The Contractor shall provide pre-employment medical (PEM) examinations of candidates seeking peace officer employment with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). The PEM Unit, within the CDCR¿s Office of Peace Officer Selection (OPOS) has oversight of the PEM function. PEM examinations shall consist of the following:a.General Physical Examinationb.Blood Specimen and Analysisc.IgG Varicella Blood Testd.Hepatitis B Blood Teste.Routine Urinalysisf.Urine Drug Screening with Medical Review Officer (MRO) review of positive testsg.Hearing Testh.Respirator Fit Testingi.Respirator Use Explanation/Demonstration and Evaluation ServicesThe Contractor shall conduct the examinations pursuant to guidelines provided by the CDCR, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 2 and Administration and State Personnel Board Rules on Pre-employment Drug Testing. The Contractor shall provide examination facilities and services for all of the following locations:Site 1 ¿ Eureka/Crescent City* Site 2 ¿ Redding (2)Site 3 ¿ Sacramento/Rancho CordovaSite 4 ¿ Richmond/San Rafael/OaklandSite 5 ¿ FresnoSite 6 ¿ BakersfieldSite 7 ¿ Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario Site 8 ¿ San Diego/Temecula*Site 1 - Eureka or Crescent City (Only)This facility must be located in California and within 100-miles of the city limits.
