Item is used on the C-5 crew entry door ladder. The quantity is 26. This sole source effort will be IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy
Agency Requirements, under which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the original equipment manufacturer for this item, Sargent Aerospace & Defense, LLC. (CAGE 78062). which maintains its configuration by part number and software version.
