The city of Genk is the owner of a project area located in the C-Mine area, located between Barenzaallaan, Schachtboklaan and west of Luca School of Arts. The project area concerns part of the cadastral parcel in Genk, seventh department, section H, plot number 52/00R018 P0000 with aTotal cadastral surface of 213, 090 m2. The project area is a total of 2, 728m2. The effective land surface to be sold will be determined on the basis of the effective and awarded design.
This area is located within the scope of the BPA Winterslag UrbanFunctions (mining site). A project in the creative economy can be realized on the ground, with the possibility of supplementing this with a housing program.
The subject of the assignment is the awarding of a business law (ownership right) in the project area. The city of Genk offers the land and thedevelopment opportunities on the market through a competition procedure with negotiation. On this basis, the city of Genk wishes to be able to obtain the best conditions for the project area in an objective and transparent way.
