C-130H A/C CWB Structure Repair



SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE OVERVIEW (INFORMATIONAL/PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY):

The United States Government (USG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to conduct Center Wing Box (CWB) structural repairs to the C-130H aircraft. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined.

The purpose of this survey is to determine commercial capabilities that have past performance in providing: A repair scheme of the CWB AFT beam upper cap corrosion, a repair scheme of the CWB wing panel #4 corrosion, and all materials/repairs elements necessary to complete the CWB repair excluding the shop consumables (sealant, primer, paints) on the aircraft.

The USG does not have reference material or past examples of this repair for any potential contractors to evaluate. The contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor-s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts.

Contractors/Institutions responding to this Sources Sought Notice are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3:
