This information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner.All businesses, regardless of size, capable of and interested in performing the proposed project may submit capability statements for consideration. Based upon response to this announcement and capability statements, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside, proceed with an unrestricted solicitation or decide on an alternate procurement strategy. Information provided in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to these sources sought notice.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325180, Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1, 000 employees.The government is looking to potentially award multiple Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts. The Proposed ProjectThe Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, has a need for the acquisition of bulk chemicals to be delivered to the Yuma Desalting Plant in Yuma, Arizona.The following is a list of the chemicals required:Liquid Chlorine. The liquid chlorine will meet AWWA B301-18, Standard for Liquid Chlorine. This material shall be certified as suitable for contact with or treatment of drinking water by an accredited certification organization in accordance with ANSI/NSF Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals-Health Effects. Liquid Chlorine shall be delivered in 1-ton containers.Hydrated Lime. The material shall comply with ANSI/AWWA B202-19.
